Nicky invited me to come down and visit her in Bellingham. I had only ever seen the giant malls and highways side of Bellingham before, but I ended up being completely smitten with the little historical parts, downtown area, and charming mid-century neighbourhoods. I played a game of Trivial Pursuit and did not lose (for once), and I bought a Beastie Boys t-shirt and a cross necklace that doubles as a whistle. Pretty good purchases.
